Steam Steriliser

The nip steam steriliser sterilises baby bottles, teats and dummies using only hot steam, without chemicals or bleach.

You can also use it to steam food and warm baby food jars. A measuring cup and tongs are included.

Application:

1. Plug in the appliance and use the measuring cup to add 90 ml of tap water to the heating unit.
2. Fit the bottle basket and place the disassembled bottles inside with their openings facing downwards.
3. Fit the upper basket, add accessories such as dummies, teats or sealing discs, then close the lid.
4. Turn on the main switch at the back and press the button on the front. The steriliser switches off automatically after 9 minutes.
5. Turn off the main switch, unplug the appliance and leave it to cool for at least 5 minutes. Open the lid using only the grey handle and remove hot items with the tongs.

When steaming food, the amount of water determines the cooking time. For fish or other foods that release liquid, it is best to place a heat-resistant plate underneath the food.

• Allow at least 10 minutes of cooling time between cycles so the thermostat can reset.
• Take care when opening, as hot steam may escape. Do not move the appliance during use or leave it unattended.
• Do not sterilise liquid-filled teething rings. Use only ordinary tap water without additives.
• Descale every 2 weeks: add a little citric acid and 100 ml of boiling water, leave for a few minutes, then wipe clean with fresh water.
