Everything you need to know about Goki

What began in 1981 as a two-person business has since grown into the largest toy manufacturer in northern Germany. Today, goki captivates with a diverse range of high-quality wooden toys that put children and their experiences at the heart of everything. This is how childhood becomes what it should be: colourful and full of adventure.

Without education, there is no future

Social commitment also plays an important role, and the company has been dedicated to this for over 20 years. In collaboration with the children’s aid organisations Terre des Hommes and Kinder in Afrika, 10 schools have been built to date, giving children in countries such as Vietnam, Colombia, Mali and Uganda access to education and a better life.

A tree for every child

The wooden toy manufacturer goki also takes its responsibility towards nature and future generations seriously. Under the motto ‘For every child born, we plant a tree’, over 460,000 trees have already been planted in Schleswig-Holstein. This means that more trees are being replanted than are used in toy production. The company is transforming the most vulnerable monocultures into mixed forests that are resilient to climate change, comprising species suited to the local environment such as oaks, beeches and Norway maples, to promote biodiversity.
This environmental commitment is complemented by the company’s own solar panels, which generate more electricity than its premises consume, ensuring a sustainable cycle in the interests of children.
