Starting at the age of 5 months, most babies are ready to expand their diets and start eating solids. The Organic Baby Food Jar of pure organic carrots makes the transition from milk to solid foods easier for your baby and for you.

The mildly sweet aroma of finely pureed organic carrots is well accepted by many babies as their first solid food. As is appropriate for this age, neither salt nor sugar is added (the salt and sugar content in the puree are naturally occurring in the carrots themselves). It also contains no added flavours, colours or preservatives and carrots are naturally gluten-free.

Note: At the start of weaning as you are introducing your baby to solid foods, a few spoonfuls of carrot puree is sufficient before the usual meal of milk or formula. You can gradually increase the amount. Please note the instructions on feeding and storage further below on this page.
